BJ Templeton

BJ Templeton is the CEO and co-founder of tei Technology LLC, where he leads international business development in the United States, Japan, Taiwan, Europe, Korea, Singapore, and China. He has over 36 years professional history leading sales and market development, predominantly in international semiconductor market sectors.

Prior to founding tei Technology, Mr. Templeton served as the Corporate Director of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for ATDF/SVTC, where he developed a highly successful business model and executed sales strategies that took the company from a not-for-profit organization through to its eventual sale to a venture capital group. Other global corporate sales and marketing leadership roles were with General Physics Corp. and Applied Materials. His expertise is in cultivating trusted collaborative partnerships that yield enduring business development with measurable increases in the enterprise customer base. Mr. Templeton brings well honed sales and marketing instincts to directing and developing client companies’ global strategic relationships and their sales and marketing execution. His undergraduate education is from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Shuji “Shu: Ikeda, PH.D, IEEE Fellow

Shuji Ikeda is the COO and co-founder of tei Technology LLC, where he serves as technology consultant and leads the innovative technology development for client companies in the US, Japan, Taiwan, Europe, Korea, Singapore, and China. He received a B.S. degree in Physics and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology and an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University. He has over 25 years of industry experience working in numerous positions at Hitachi, Ltd., Trecenti Technologies, Inc. in Japan and ATDF/SVTC in Texas, US.

Dr. Ikeda holds over 200 patents in Japan and more than 70 patents in the U.S. He is an author of over 50 technical papers in the field of SRAM technology and manufacturing. In addition, he served as a member of Front End Process (FEP) committee of ITRS Japan from 1999-2005 and on the research staff of Japan’s Science Technology Ministry since 2000. He has also been involved in IEDM, becoming the first General Chair from Asia in 2002. He is a member of the VLSI EDS Committee and the EDS Administrative Committee. He was a technical program committee member of VLSI Symposium in 2007 and 2008. Dr. Ikeda is also an IEEE fellow.
